Detailed Itinerary: 14 Days African Great Apes
Day 1. The day begins with meeting up your guide at Entebbe international airport where you will meet your guide, he will drive you down to the pier where you will take the boat for the 2 hours boat ride to the , once you get to the island , you will check into one of the luxury safari tents , on the small island covered with forest in the oasis of lake Victoria .

Day 2. You will wake up in the morning, to have a cup of tea and meals before you get to the morning chimpanzee waking with the chimps, its lovely moment where you get chance to walk with the chimps, so expect to be here after doing several health tests and vaccinations to avoid spreading dieses to the Apes. After this exercise, you will have lunch as you wait to go for chimpanzee feeding , its 2 hours experience but its worth it’s a moment that is hard to explain the joy that one feels seeing the chimps raising up their hands requesting for food and the instinct smiles of the chimps. Dinner and overnight at the island.

Day 3. We shall have an early morning breakfast, by 8:00 ,take the boat back to the main land where we shall be there by 9:35Am after take the road trip across Kampala as we enjoy the drive to Kyaninga lodge , its 6 hours drive from Entebbe to this incredible place that is set on the rime of the crater ake overlooking the views of the mountains of the moon . dinner and overnight at Kyaninga lodge.
Day 4 We shall wake up so early in the morning at 5:00am for breakfast as we wait to set off for the 1 hours drive from Kyaninga lodge to Kanyanchu the primates capital, unlike the usual normal trekking this will be the habituation experience half day with the chimps from the time the chimps wakes up from their nests to the time they begin to make new nest for the following overnight after we shall drive back to be looking at the habituation experience than in normal, chimpanzee tracking And once they are living they evening, they begin to make the branches. Did you now that chimps prepare the nest for the following night in the morning. They don’t spoil the nest , they leave it in nice state because they know at one point they will need to reuse the nest again. They can one time reuse the nest to they leave it as it is.. we shall drive back to our respective hotel.

Day 5 drive to Back to the to begin our road trip to, to keep it a police national park. The road, we take us through the interesting, suburbs of Kampala, lots of things along the way, as you say hello to Uganda. Hello, to the beautiful landscape and interesting sceneries. As we drive across the rolling hills of his southwestern part of Uganda, heading to keep away forest national park.
Day 6. We shall have breakfast in the morning as we wait to take the morning game drive across the savanna park in queen Elizabeth park, here we shall do the experiential game drive. It’s one of the largest savanna park located at the edge of the east African escarpment. we shall spend 2 nights there in the following day, we do the briefing and walk down stairs into the gorge, the gorge has more than eight points. Day 7. In the morning by 6:00am . We wake up in the morning accompanied by a cup of coffee and a light breakfast. In the late evening, We can do an extra evening sun downer experiential game drive experience again, this will be getting a nice spot at thee edge of the crater lake , This is far, much more fun, as you enjoy the sunset with its interesting ambience and
the end point of the African sun set. In the late evening, we shall have a relaxed drive back to our lovely hotel.
Day 8. Lovely morning wake up with lovely breakfast, we shall leave for Ishasha the known up place for The small extension of this park is famous for lion climbing trees , buffalo’s, elephants. Different types of antelopes. The jackals, the hyenas. You will be surprised on how unique this park can be ,. As you come back from the game, right? You shall be proceeding back to Our hotel. For refreshment at as we get to enjoy at the swimming pool listening to the calls of the jungle. Or , we can have an extra fantastic, unbelievable boat. Cruise on the Kazinga channel, is one of the greatest man-made channel. Actually, i would say that has it the highest concentration of hippos, or over the world. The channel goes for about 25 kilometers and we are free to have the unlimited hours in the boat cruise. You, as you enjoy the breeze of these two, channel that join the 2 lakes Edward.

Day 9 Leave for the southern sector of Bwindi known as Rushaga which is a home for the incredible mountain gorillas, it’s the only sector where gorilla habituation is done from that is well known for the habituation experience. What is the habituation experience means? Habitual experience means making the gorillas. get used to humans without seeing humans as threat They do it in different ways by following the morning of gorillas from where they left them the previous night. Cording to the smell, according to the poo. un like their counterpart the chimpanzee, gorillas are always vegetarian. They are also on the ground, they leave a trail where they pass
Sometimes is always, there’s a signal that gets us to know from the smell that we are getting close to the gorillas. And the trail is always, and the bugs. You see the bags? Once You get to where the gorillas that we are getting close. Then we start preparing ourselves, our cameras. It’s not like the normal good at tracking habituation is more challenging.
So you maximum fitness is required. It’s not a zoo. Where expect to find the leaders, just on a silver plate. You need to be active participant during the process of habituation. Day 10. The following day will be the normally relaxing day for the gorilla. Tracking great track is number entitled to eight people per group, you show up in the morning at at 7:45 or briefing. So you spend some time ,after the briefing about gorillas, after you will begin the trekking into the natural habitat where these incredible apes live . You spend an hour with these gorillas.

Day 13. The day begins with morning breakfast , after have a drive to the genocide memorials of GISoZi from the 1994. Political termoil that left most of the people in tears. So, you spend some time in this inside the memorial Reading through the video tutorials, playing around and seeing the country from where it has evolved from the 1994 genocide to where it is at the moment.so the optional places to spend the night here would be at Kigali, Marriott. Marriott is one of the international hotel
Day 14. Transfer to the airport in the next day morning .and this marks the end of the 14 day safari.
