Detailed Itinerary: 10 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Entebbe to Hotel
When you reach at the Entebbe Airport you are welcomed by a drive guide who transfers you to the Cassi Lodge Buziga for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Kibale Forest National Park
Today enjoy breakfast then with all your luggage embark on journey to the Western Part of Uganda for a period of 7 to 8 hours. En-route have lunch, views of the green terrain vegetation, birds then later you reach Fort Portal look around then after proceed to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters.
Later continue to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.
Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Guided Nature walk in Kibale Forest
Enjoy breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees. Later in groups of 8 with a park ranger proceed to the Kanyanchu Visitor’s Center where you leave at 8.00 am you enter the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours. When you meet the Chimpanzees take numerous photos to keep.
Return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kazinga Channel View Lodge.
Day 4: Game drive & Boat cruise at Kazinga Channel
Get up early have breakfast then transfer for a Game Drive along the various tracks in the Park to watch wildlife wander around their natural habitat. The wildlife animals you watch include; lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck etc. Have lunch then continue to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon Boat Cruise watching schools of hippo and crocodiles beneath the waters. After your cruise, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kazinga Channel View Lodge. Day 5: Game Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
Have breakfast then continue on an en-route Game Drive watching wildlife animals. Have lunch then continue to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi for 6 to 7 hours and when you reach the Park.
Check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Bunyonyi Overland Resort.
Day 6: Canoeing then transfer to Bwindi
Have your breakfast then continue to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi for canoeing to the nearby Islands. After your adventure have lunch then continue to Bwindi Forest National Park.
Check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma community Rest camp.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today get up early have breakfast at 6:30 am then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. You are distributed into groups of 8 with a park ranger who leads you to the starting point where you leave to enter the forest to trek the Gorillas for 3-5 hours depending on current location of the Gorillas. Then after a while you meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories. After trekking the Gorillas, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 8: Bwindi Forest Cultural Village Walk
Enjoy breakfast then embark on a guided 3-5 hour community walk with a skilled park ranger to the Bufumbira and Bakiga local communities. En-route watch green terrain, wildlife and primates in the forest habitat. After your cultural visit, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with lunch en-route and when you get to the park, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Rwakobo Rock Lodge.
Day 9: Game Drive & Boat Cruise Lake Mburo
Have early breakfast then embark on Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching wildlife wander around their natural habitat. The wildlife animals you watch include; Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala etc After have lunch then continue to Boat Cruise at Lake Mburo where you watch hippos, crocodiles and birds.
After cruise return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Rwakobo Rock lodge.
Day 10: Guided Nature Walk & Departure
Wake up have breakfast then embark on transfer on guided nature walk exploring the green terrain vegetation, birds, then later depart to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport to board flight back home.
