Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
This will be the day for your transfer to Serengeti National Park. It can be either by Road or Air. The transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park by Road takes about 7-8 hours. Upon arrival, you will have a guided game drive to look out for Elephants, lions, Giraffes, wildebeests, birds and more. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Game viewing in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park Ecosystem is one of the largest and gives you the opportunity to enjoy the big five game. Enjoy the wildebeests, gazelles, zebras among other animals. The area has got a history of the Masai Tribe and the visit to that park will offer you a chance to experience the Masai Culture. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day 3: To Ngorongoro Crater
For the best safari experience, you will drive to Ngorongoro crater in the morning, where wildlife thrives in outstanding density. The unique biodiversity, geographic formations and a rich cultural heritage attract very many visitors. Enjoy the guided game drive to look out for Rhinos, Cheetahs, Elephants, Zebras, Lions and more. Drive to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Arusha for your flight to Kigali
You will have breakfast and thereafter, transfer to Arusha by road or catch flight to Arusha. You will then connect to Kigali International Airport from Arusha Airport. The driver guide will pick you up from the airport to transfer you to your Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
You will make a transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park for your Gorilla tracking expedition on the following day. On Arrival, you will check into your Lodge and thereafter go for a boat trip on the Twin Lakes or visit the Dian Fossey Museum. You can also choose to relax at your Hotel/Lodge as you prepare for the trekking of the mountain gentle Giants. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Expedition
On this day, you will go for the gorilla trekking adventure. You will have breakfast in the morning, to be picked up from your Hotel. You will drive to the briefing point for instructions and thereafter go for this life time adventure.
Enjoy an hour close to the mountain gorillas, watch them play, feed, and how they behave. You will then trek back to meet your driver for your next program. In the afternoon, you can choose to do a cultural tour at the Ibyi’wachu or relax at your Lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Golden Monkey Trekking and departure
Have your breakfast in the morning to go for Golden Monkey Trekking and thereafter, transfer to Kigali which marks the end of your Safari.
