Your trip will start in Rwanda with gorilla trekking and a visit to Iby’Iwachu culture village. And on the third day you will embark on your adventure in the Serengeti plains in Tanzania with a game drive where you have a chance to see the big fives after which it extends to the magical Ngorongoro crater, and it ends in the pearl of Africa with gorilla trekking and the Batwa community visit.

Detailed itinerary of Exclusive 9 days Rwanda and Tanzania Luxury Safari

Day 1 Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

After your breakfast our company guide will pick you up from your hotel and have a city tour of Kigali where you will have lunch. After which you will drive to Volcanoes National Park in the northwestern parts of Rwanda. The drive takes about 2-3 hours to reach the park. You will check in to your lodge, where you will get dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Gorilla trekking and Iby’Iwachu culture experience

You will wake up very early in the morning and head to the park headquarters of volcanoes National Park Where you will receive briefing about how to conduct you self around the gorillas, after being assigned a gorilla family, you will then head to the starting point. The time taken to find the gorillas depends on their movement. After finding your gorilla family, you will be allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas taking photos. After the trek you will proceed to your hotel for lunch and resting. In the late afternoon you will go to Ibiwachu Cultural village where you will learn more about Rwanda’s culture and history. after head back to your hotel for refreshment and an overnight stay,

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali international airport.

You will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast after which our driver guide will take you to Kigali International airport to for your flight to Tanzania. Your flight will land at Kilimanjaro International airport Upon arrival in Arusha our guide will transfer you to your lodge for dinner and an overstay

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti plains.

On day 4 of Exclusive 9 days Rwanda and Tanzania Luxury Safari, Very early in the morning you will have breakfast, your guide will pick you up and embark on your journey to Serengeti plains. You will have an en lunch during you transfer you will enjoy the breathtaking views of Seronera Valley. When you reach the lodge, you will check in and have dinner and relax.

Day 5: Game drive in Serengeti plains.

Very early in the morning you will have breakfast, and the lodge will provide you with pack lunch to eat during the game drive. The drive begins from the north near river Mara where you might get a chance to see the wildebeest. You also get a chance to spot different wildlife like Elephants, Hippos, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, Hyenas and lions among others. You will drive around river Seronera where most animals gather to take water and visit the Maasai Kopjes. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge for dinner and resting.

Day 6: Balloon safari and game drive

You will be taken to the Balloon Safari Starting Point at 6:00 am today, you will begin your flight to discover the splendour of Serengeti National Park and see the untamed animals. After eating a bush breakfast until, you and your guide will go on a full-day game drive with your packed lunch. You will return to the lodge for a hot lunch, supper, and sleep later in the evening.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro and game drive

After breakfast you, the lodge will provide you with packed lunch to enjoy during your game drive. Your journey will start at gorge Olduvia Gorge where the remains of early man where discovered by Dr Leaky. Your drive through Ngorongoro gives you also gives you a chances to witness the wildebeests. The Ngorongoro is 600-meter-deepand its known as one of the world’s largest volcanic calderas, it is home to more than a million species, including the endangered black rhino. Among the other creatures are zebras, buffalos, giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and others. The migration process will come to an end as it moves into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area near the eastern border of the Serengeti National Park. Here, the herds have the finest circumstances for growing their newborn calves since the plains are richer in nutrient-dense grass. The herds live in the short-grass plains that cover the Olduvai Gorge and the lower northern slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater highlands. After the game drive, you will head to your lodge for dinner and the night later in the evening.

Day 8: Transfer to Tarangire National Park and game drive

After breakfast you will depart from Ngorongoro very early in the morning and head to Tarangire National where colossal termite mounds and ancient baobab trees await. This park is well known for having a big elephant population, their varied bird life and beautiful surroundings. Elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and baboons are among the alluring species of Tarangire. When our game drive comes to an end, we will proceed to Arusha where you will have an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 9: Departure at Kilimanjaro airport

After having Breakfast will at your lodge, you will check out and then drive to Kilimanjaro airport, stopping along the way for lunch. If you have an evening flight out of Tanzania, your driver will drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport, this mark the end of exclusive 9 days Rwanda and Tanzania Luxury Safari.
