Detailed Itinerary of the 5 Days Rwanda Safari

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport where you leave from to Volcanoes National Park in Ruhegeri District for a period of 2 hours with lunch en-route. On arrival at the park, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kinigi Guest House.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up very early in the morning have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger, enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them depending on their current location, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking photos for memories.

After Gorilla Trekking, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kinigi Guest House.

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, embark on a transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. En-route visit some Genocide Memorials as well as have lunch then later you arrive at the Park and check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe hill top View lodge

Day4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy walk in Nyungwe

Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park

Wake up have breakfast then later proceed to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Chimpanzees in their natural forest habitat. After enter the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories.

After Chimpanzee Tracking, proceed to enjoy a canopy walk which offers you views of various primates i.e the white and black Columbus, vervet monkey, etc. After the canopy walk, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe hill top View lodge

Day 5: Departure to Kigali

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark o a departure to Kigali International Airport to board your flight back home.
