Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Gorillas trekking and Serengeti Tanzania
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Serengeti national park
Upon arrival you will meet with our guide at Kilimanjaro International airport. After your meeting, you will be transferred straight to Serengeti National Park. You will head to Serengeti using the road near the edge of Ngorongoro Crater. This route makes it easy to see why Serengeti is one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, with its golden savannah and boundless plains teaming with giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. You will have a picnic lunch around Mara Kopje plains here you will have a chance to see Serengeti’s famous pink headed lizards. After this you will continue on to do a game drive in the Serengeti plains. After which you will in check into your lodge for dinner and resting.


Day 2: Game drive in Serengeti national park
After a hearty breakfast, you will proceed onto the expansive plains of the stunning Serengeti, which are home to hundreds of different animal and bird species. Your senses will be stimulated at every turn of today’s excursion, whether it’s the calm, dead silence of the sweltering noonday or your eyes being on guard for every new sitting and your ears feasting on the calls, screeches, and buzz of life. You might probably spot lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and water buffalo within a few feet of your jeep in the world-famous Serengeti. Seeing it is humbling. Additionally, you will see some of the park’s lesser known but no less stunning animals, such as eland, hyenas, gazelles, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippo, rhinos, and gazelles. An added benefit for birdwatchers is the hundreds of indigenous bird species. Under the stars, a freshly prepared and delectable meal will round out the day’s pleasures.
Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area
After breakfast, the lodge will provide you with packed lunch to enjoy during your game drive. you will start the day with a wildlife drive in the center Serengeti early in the morning. The savannah is a dynamic environment, and when the restored sunshine begins to light up the entire area, the air is filled with the sounds that the birds produce. Your drive to Ngorongoro also gives you a chance to witness the wildebeests Migration. After the breathtaking game drive, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 4: Ngorongoro crater game drive.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on exploring the Ngorongoro crater with walls 2,000 ft and a crater floor of 102 sq. miles. The crater is home to almost every species of wildlife in East Africa like the rare black rhino and it’s also famous for having the greatest concentration of wildlife in the world. It has a river, a number of swamps, a soda lake with flamingoes, a forest and open plains. The mineral richness of the volcanic soil and its grasses contributes to the enormous tusks of the huge bull elephants that live here. The most amazing elephants you will ever see in your life are these ones. After your game drive you will go back to your lodge for dinner and relaxing.
Day 5: Transfer to Tarangire national park and drive back to Arusha
We will drive to Tarangire National Park, where enormous termite mounds and old baobab trees greet us, early in the morning from Karatu. This park is well known for its vast elephant population, gorgeous landscape, and varied wildlife. Animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and baboons can be seen at Tarangire. After the game drive you will drive to Arusha, where you will spend the night and have dinner.
Day 6: Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide for your transfer to the airport and fly to Uganda. When you reach Entebbe airport, our company guide will take you to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Shoebill encounter in Mabamba swamp
After having your delicious breakfast, you will venture into the world of the shoebill stork, in Mabamba Swamp, Bird life can be found in a lush sanctuary on Lake Victoria’s shoreline. This presents an opportunity to capture the spirit of a genuinely remarkable bird. When you visit Mabamba Swamp in Uganda, you can witness a wide variety of birds, including magnificent African fish eagles and colourful kingfishers. After this breathtaking adventure you will head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park located in the western part of Uganda with approximately 540km from Kampala by road. You will have a stopover at the Uganda Equator to take photos and the experiment and another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. When you are done with lunch, proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening. You will then check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour
After waking up and having breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to receive a briefing on how to conduct yourself around mountain gorillas. After which you will be split up into groups of eight for each Gorilla family, and you will spend 3- 5 hours tracking for your Gorilla Group in the lush forest under the guidance of a trained ranger guide. You will enjoy the breathtaking views of the surroundings, birds, and primates as they play, jump among the tree branches. You will finally meet the mountain gorillas and spend an hour taking pictures and get a chance to see them play as well as grooming each other. Once your trekking is done you will, return to the headquarters where you are to pick up a Mountain Gorilla Trekking Certificate. After this you will head back to your lodge for lunch and prepare for the Batwa community visit.
Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe
You will have breakfast at your lodge after which you will check out, then drive to Entebbe via Kampala, stopping along the way for lunch. If you have an evening flight out of Uganda, your driver will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport or at a hotel of your choosing when you arrive in Entebbe in the evening, This Marks the end of 10 Days Gorillas trekking and Serengeti Tanzania.
