Detailed Itinerary of the 9 Days Rwanda Safari

Day 1: Arrival to Hotel

While at the Kigali International Airport, you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you on a brief City Tour to the Genocide Memorials and National Museums. Later after lunch, proceed to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Chezlando Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Have breakfast then proceed to Nyungwe Forest National Park a journey that offers you en-route views of the green terrain, birds and lunch. Later reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe Hill Top View hotel.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park

Today get up early have breakfast then transfer to Nyungwe Forest’s Park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees. After briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees, you are allocated in groups of 8 then with a guide enter the forest to track the Chimpanzees. Track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours at the Cyamudongo Forest. Later take many photos for an hour.
when you are done with chimpanzee Tracking, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe hill Top View Hotel.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibuye town

Have early breakfast then transfer to the Town of Kibuye and en-route you view the green Tea Plantations, lake Kivu and have lunch. Later yo reach the Town and check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Bethany Guest House.

Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Enjoy delicious breakfast in the morning then continue to Volcanoes National Park situated in Ruhengeri District Musanze Rwanda. Enjoy lunch then continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up have early breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.
When you finish briefing you transfer into the green forest in groups of 8 to trek the Gorillas in their natural forest. Trek the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and after a while you meet them and in an hour take many photos to keep. After Gorilla trekking, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Akagera National Park

Today enjoy breakfast then transfer to the stunning Akagera National Park. On your way have lunch then continue to the Park viewing green terrain, birds then later you reach the Park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 8: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Today wake up enjoy delicious breakfast then transfer to the Park for a Game Drive along the various tracks watching wildlife animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, bush and water bucks, warthogs, giraffes. After Game Drive have lunch transfer to lake Ihema for Boat Cruise watching hippos,  crocodiles beneath the waters. After Cruise, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 9: City tour and Departure

Today embark on City Tour around Kigali then later you proceed to the Kigali International Airport to board flight back home.
