Detailed Safari Program:
Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
On this Day, you will be picked up from your Hotel (Your own arrangement) by our driver guide to start your safari. Starting the trip in Kigali saves you travel time and money. You will transfer to Kisoro in Uganda at the base of the scenic Virunga Volcanoes. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Gorilla Trekking
With an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer to the briefing point to prepare for your Gorilla Trekking in the wild. You will be help in the registration process and there after start your trek in the park. The search for the Gorillas and jungle experience is Unique. After trekking the gorillas, you may choose to go for a community activity near the National Park. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Golden Monkey trekking and transfer to Volcanoes
After an early morning breakfast, your driver guide will take you for your Day’s activity. You will start with a briefing at before you start the hike in search for the Golden Monkey. You will be allowed to stay 1 hour with the golden monkeys. After this activity, you will then set out and travel to the countryside for your
gorilla trekking in Rwanda. The drive is scenic and interesting with lovely and friendly people with children at some points waving to you with a smile. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Entertainment
Following a very early breakfast, your driver will head to the park headquarters for briefing, and registration. You will start the Gorilla Trekking activity in the forest to search for Gorillas in their natural habitat. The trek is categorized into short, Medium and long so even those with physical issue as well as the elderly are catered for.
You will spend up to 1 hour with the mountain Gorillas and thereafter, walk back to meet your driver guide. After the trekking experience, drive to the Iby’wachu Cultural Village to Enjoy the cultural entertainment through different activities in which you may actively take part. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Kahuzi Biega – Congo
Enjoy your Breakfast before starting a scenic journey to Bukavu with wonderful views of the hills in Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 6: Lowland Gorilla tracking tour in Kahuzi Biega – DR Congo

In the morning, get ready for a lifetime adventure of trekking the lowland gorillas in Kahuzi Biega National Park. Set off for hiking after the briefing. Hike in the Jungle in search for the Gorillas as well as other natural hidden treasurers.
The Lowland Gorillas are quite different from mountain gorillas, in terms of Size, and family circles. After your trekking activity, you will walk back to meet your driver for your next activity or drive back to your Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Bukavu- Kigali- Departure
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive back to Kigali which marks the end of your Safari.
