Detailed Itinerary: 4 Days Rwanda Safari

Day 1: Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, where you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you Ruhengeri District at Volcanoes National Park where you trek the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest habitat. Have lunch en-route along your journey of 2 hours and when you reach the park, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Lebombou lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking photos to keep for memories.

After Gorilla Trekking, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Lebombou lodge.

Day 3: Dian Fossey / Golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up have breakfast then proceed on a hike to Dian Fossey Tomb located at the top of Mount Bisoke Volcano then later after knowing about Dian Fossey, transfer for lunch break. Afterwards, proceed to track the Golden Monkeys for 2- 4 hours in the forest and when you meet them, take various photos to keep for memories. After golden Monkey Tracking, proceed back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.  Lebombou lodge.

Day4: Departure to Kigali

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a departure to Kigali International Airport to board your flight back home.
