This 10 Day Safari takes you to Uganda, Rwanda, Congo and Burundi. The tour will give you a chance to enjoy a piece of the beautiful pearl of Africa, which has got more than half of the mountain Gorillas. Gorilla trekking is one of the highlights in Uganda. The trips give you more in the hilly and mountainous terrains of Rwanda. It’s a home to the rare Mountain Gorillas as well the endangered Golden Monkeys.
The untapped Democratic Republic of Congo with its breathtaking landscapes will not leave you the same. The un spoilt beauty of the lush rain forests, thrilling wildlife and rare species make Congo very satisfying. Burundi offers a lot of stunning nature in a smaller space. Bujumbura, offers a wide number of attractions and a city tour shouldn’t miss on your activity list.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Bwindi
Pick up from Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Depending on your arrival time, you may have short visit to the cleanest City in Africa featuring genocide memorial sites. You will have lunch and thereafter, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight,

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Pygmy Family Visit
Encountering the Gorillas in their Natural Habitat is an amazing experience.
Have an early breakfast, and transfer to the briefing point to confirm your trekking payments and to register for your Day’s activity in Bwindi.
The ranger guide will then lead you for the extra ordinary moments of searching for the gorillas in the Park. You will enjoy the gorillas in the jungle and thereafter return to meet your guide. And in the late afternoon, you may choose to go for a community walk or stay at the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Today you will Drive to Volcanoes with a visit to the Unique Twin lakes of Burela and Ruhondo.
You will take a boat Trip to visit several islands in the heart of luhondo lake. The lakes have the best views of the 5 volcanoes. So, if you are someone who loves photography this is the best place not to miss. Proceed to the heart of Rwanda Volcanoes Park. Another afternoon option is to spend the evening enjoying the cultural entertainment at Iby’wachu where you can be actively involved in the Dancing and other activities there. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Golden Monkey trekking
At the park headquarters, you will register and be briefed about the activity of Trekking the Golden Monkeys, how they feed, how long they live and how to behave when you are in the presence of these animals. Golden monkey trekking is one of the easiest activities to do while in volcanoes. As you hike and interact with the ranger guide, you will get to know more about the Country, foods grown, formation of
different features among others. And after the trek, you will return to meet your driver guide. Have lunch and have the afternoon at Leisure.

Day 5: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe
In the morning, you will transfer to Nyungwe National Park. It is a conservation area located in the south western Rwanda. It has got exotic flora and fauna. The forest is so relaxing with the sound of birds and nature. You will transfer to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking and take an afternoon Canopy Walk
The morning will start after breakfast with chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest. Registration and briefing will be done and thereafter start your activity in the forest. You may spot other animals such as the Lhotse’s monkey, birds, the grey-cheeked Mangabey among. In the afternoon, you will go for the world’s best canopy walk. After the activity, you will transfer to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Congo
After having breakfast, start on a scenic drive to Bukavu with wonderful views of road attractions in Rwanda. After crossing the Border, you will drive to visit the Rwil Chimpanzee Sanctuary before retiring for Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 8: Low Land Gorilla Trekking in Kahuzi Biega – DR Congo.
In the morning, you will have breakfast and get ready for a lifetime adventure of tracking the lowland gorillas and embracing the beauty of Kahuzi Biega National park. Seeing a big family of the eastern low land gorillas will surely be amazing and its worth the effort of travelling to Congo. Learn more on how these gorillas feed, live and for how long they live. After this activity, if time permits, cross back to Rwanda for Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Transfer to Burundi
Very early in the morning, transfer to cross to Burundi. On this day, you will either driver or catch a flight to Bujumbura. If time permits, you will have evening activity depending on the available Time. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 10: Bujumbura City Tour and airport Transfer
After an early breakfast, you will go for a short City Tour and thereafter, transfer to the airport for the departure flight. This marks the end of your Safari
