Detailed Itinerary of the 15 Days Best Budget Uganda Safari

Day 1: Arrival & Hotel

On arrival Entebbe, meet our company representative/ driver guide who welcomes and briefs you about the safari then later drives you to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Cassia Lodge Buziga.

Day 2: Canoe Ride at Mabamba Swamp

Enjoy breakfast then continue to Mabamba Wetland Swamp. You reach the Swamp and proceed on a canoe  ride along the Mabamba Swamp and if lucky, you will spot the overly sought after shoebill stork. Take many photos to keep as well as those of other birds flying around their natural forest vegetation terrain. After two hours of watching the shoebill stork, return back to the harbr then to your lodge fro relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Cassi lodge Buziga.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Get up early have breakfast then with your luggage, embark on transfer to Murchison Falls National park via the Kampala -Gulu Highway. The journey takes you 5 to 7 hours with a brief stop at the Zia Rhino Sanctuary. (If you are interested, trek the white Rhinos at Ziwa). After have lunch then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Reach the Park and check-in lodge for dinner and Overnight.  Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Game drive & Boat Cruise

Early morning breakfast then proceed for Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching wildlife animals wander around their natural habitat. The wildlife animals you see include; elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs etc.

After break off for lunch then continue to the banks of the Victoria Nile where you leave from to board a boat to cruise you to the bottom of the falls as you watch hippos, crocodiles beneath the waters and numerous wildlife species along the banks. Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Have your delicious breakfast today morning, then with all belongings, embark on transfer to the prominent stunning Kibale Forest National Park. En-rote, shortly break off for lunch and have views of the green terrain, birds and later you reach the park, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest

Today get up as early as 6:00 am have breakfast at 6:30 am then proceed to the park headquarters for briefing your conduct around the Chimpanzees. Your are led by an UWA park ranger who informs you about the Chimpanzees, their habitat as well as vegetation terrain. After in groups of 8 with a ranger guide, go to the kanyanchu Visitors Center where you leave from to enter the forest to trek the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them, take many photos to keep.

After Chimpanzee Tracking, return to lodge for relaxation. Dinner ad Overnight.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Embark on transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast via verdant green and scenic terrain country side and small towns. En-route, visit the Amabere G’anyinamwiru stalagmites in Fort Portal, Crater lakes and the Kyeganywa hill. You shall also have lunch then reach Queen Elizabeth in the Late afternoon and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Bush Lodge.

Day 8: Ishasha Sector at Queen Elizabeth

Today have breakfast then proceed to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth and when you reach here if you are lucky watch the tree climbing lions as they sit relaxed in the fig tree branches and therefore take photos to keep for memories. You will also watch other wildlife animals wandering around the natural habitat.  After watching the tree climbing lions, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Bush Lodge.

Day 9: Game drive & Boat Cruise Kazinga Channel

Today have breakfats then continue for a Game drive along the numerous tracks in the park watching wildlife like kobs, elephants, antelope, leopards etc.

After break off for lunch then later proceed to the Kazinga Channel for a Boat Cruise which offers you views at schools of hippo, crocodiles, birds and wildlife along the shores breaking thirst. After the cruise, return to lodge for Dinenr and Overnight. Bush Lodge.

Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi

Have breakfast then continue to Bwindi Forest National Park a journey that takes you 6 to 7 hours via the Ishasha Sector. Have lunch on the way then after a while you reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Haven Lodge Buhoma.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest

Get up early enjoy breakfast very early at 6:00 am then proceed to the Park headquarters at Buhoma Bwindi Forest for briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. After briefing you are attributed to a group of 8 per Gorilla trekking Family then with a park ranger to lead you, you enter the forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas for a period of 3-5 hours in their natural forest habitat.

When you meet the Gorillas only an hour is authentically allowed to stay in their presence taking many photos to keep for memories After trekking the Gorillas, return to park headquarters where you are provided with a Gorilla Trekking Certificate then later return to lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 12: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast then with your belongings, go to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale after the busy town of Kisoro. En-route eat delicious lunch then continue to Lake Bunyonyi and on arrival here, embark on a boat cruise to the many Islands on the Lake. After return to the shores where you meet the local people who you get to know about and they will showcase o you their skills of weaving, craftsmanship. Later go to  lodge for Diner and Overnight. Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo Ntional Park

Have early morning breakfast then continue on journey to Lake Mburo National Park. You arrive at the Park around lunch time hence have this at the Igongo Cultural Center then after enjoy an en-route Game Drive to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Rwakobo Rock Lodge.

Day 14: Game drive and Entebbe

Have Game drive after breakfast watching wildlife animals like Impala, Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer. Burchells Zebra and buffalo. After Game Drive return to lodge for lunch then proceed to Entebbe and en-route, stop over at the Equator to take numerous photos to keep with you. Day 15: Departure Entebbe
