3 Days Gorilla Trekking & Batwa in Bwindi National Park , this fascinating Safari will take u to an amazing destination in the Wild “Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park”. This Park is located in South Western Uganda in Kanungu district. It is best known for Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience having almost half of the Word’s population of Mountain Gorillas with a population of about 459 individual mountain gorillas, 21 habituated Gorilla families in the 4 sectors such as Nkuringo, Buhoma, Rushaga and Ruhija which offers the best opportunity for Gorilla Trekking and Gorilla Habituation for tourists.

    Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:  Pick up from Entebbe International Airport- Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park 

Day 1 of the 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari will start with a pick up from your Entebbe International Airport by our professional driver guide who will meet and greet. You will embark on a 9 – 10-hour drive to Bwindi including stopovers with scenic views of villages, tea plantations, hills, local markets etc. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Visit Batwa Community.  

On this day after having your heavy breakfast, here you will have an option of Gorilla Trekking. You then you will prepare yourself in appropriate clothing and get ready for Gorilla Trekking or Forest Walk. Your driver guide will transfer you to the Parks center for briefing about the DO’s and DON’T’S of gorilla trekking activity, to find the Mountain Gorillas, you will venture into the forest. Depending on their location, gorilla trekking can take one to five hours. However, you may come across other animals, birds, butterflies, and many forest plants. Once you find a troop of gorillas, you can spend an hour with them. Spending time with these gentle, endangered giants is an amazing, thrilling experience that will last a lifetime. You will gain knowledge about their eating habits, communication styles, and other behaviors.  While you wait for the next encounter, head back to the lodge for lunch and rest.

Later in the evening, you will visit the Batwa who were the early inhabitants of the forest. Here you will learn about their ways of living, what they eat, how they survive, get involved in some experiences like fire making using sticks etc. Dinner and Overnight Stay.

Day 3: Depart to Entebbe International Airport.     

The 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari ends today. After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up for a scenic transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, a journey filled with breathtaking views of terraced hillsides, mist-covered valleys. Your flight lands at Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your gorilla trekking adventure.
