Detailed itinerary of 6 Days Gorilla Trekking and Serengeti Wildlife Safari

Day 1 Transfer to Volcanoes National Park and Game drive.

After your breakfast our company guide will pick you up from your hotel and have a city tour of Kigali where you will have lunch. After which you will drive to Volcanoes National Park in the northwestern parts of Rwanda. The drive takes about 2-3 hours to reach the park. You will check in to your lodge, where you will get dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Gorilla trekking and Ibiwachu Cultural village

After an early breakfast You will wake up very early and head to the park headquarters for volcanoes National Park Where you will receive briefing about how to conduct you self around the gorillas, after being assigned a gorilla family, you will then head to the starting point. The time taken to find the gorillas depends on their movement. After finding your gorilla family, you will be allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas taking photos. After the trek you will proceed to your hotel for lunch and resting. In the late afternoon you will go to Ibiwachu Cultural village where you will learn more about Rwanda’s culture and history. after head back to your hotel for refreshment and an overnight stay,you will embark on you Journey to Kigali International airport where you will board your flight to Tanzania. When you land at Kilimanjaro airport you will be met by our guide who will drive you to Serengeti National Park and you will have an enroute lunch on your way to Serengeti.  After the drive, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Transfer to Serengeti national park

After an early breakfast you will embark on you Journey to Kigali International airport where you will board your flight to Tanzania. When you land at Kilimanjaro airport you will be met by our guide who will drive you to Serengeti National Park and you will have an enroute lunch on your way to Serengeti.  After the drive, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Game drive in Serengeti

You will wake up early in the morning to have breakfast and head for a morning game drive where you will see different wildlife like hyenas, wild dogs, lions, cheetahs, leopards and hippos including the big fives. After the morning game drive, you will have lunch at the lodge and rest. In the evening you will go back for an evening game drive where you will get a chance to see different birds, insects and plant species. You will head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Game drive in Serengeti

After breakfast in the morning, you will head to Ngorongoro Crater, were wildlife flourishes in exceptional density, for the ultimate safari experience. Numerous tourists are drawn to the area by its distinctive biodiversity, geographical features, and rich cultural legacy. Savor the guided game drive while keeping an eye out for lions, zebras, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, and more. After the drive, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 Transfer to Arusha

You will have breakfast very early in the morning and check out of your room. Our guide will take you to Arusha International airport where you will board your flight and go back home.
