Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

After your breakfast our company guide pick will you up from your hotel and have a city tour of Kigali where you will have lunch. After which you will drive to Volcanoes National Park in the northwestern parts of Rwanda. The drive takes about 2-3 hours to reach the park. You will check in to your lodge, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Iby’Iwachu culture experience

You will wake up very early and head to the park headquarters of volcanoes National Park Where you will receive briefing about how to conduct you self around the gorillas, after being assigned a gorilla family, you will then head to the starting point. The time taken to find the gorillas depends on their movement. After finding your gorilla family, you will be allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas taking photos. After the trek you will proceed to your hotel for lunch and resting. In the late afternoon you will go to Ibiwachu Cultural village where you will learn more about Rwanda’s culture. after head back to your hotel for refreshment and an overnight stay.

1 Day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi from Kigali

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking

After breakfast you will embark on your journey to trek for the golden monkey in the lush forest of volcanoes national park. The process of trekking for golden monkeys is the same as gorilla trekking. When you are done with your trek you will head back to the lodge for lunch, and an overnight stay

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali and fly to Nairobi

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast after which our company guide will transfer you to Kigali where you will have lunch. After lunch you will be taken to Kigali International airport for your flight to Nairobi. When you reach at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you will be picked up by our company guide who will take you to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Masai Mara

After breakfast you will check out of your hotel and embark on your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have lunch and then head for your first game drive in the reserve. The park is home to over 450 different bird species, mammals and the big five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino). After you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Game drive in Masai Mara

After breakfast you will head out for your game drive in Masai Mara. You will have a picnic lunch. The park is famous for hosting the big five, Scavengers, Predators. You can also witness the great wildebeest migration however this depends on your time for the visit. During your drive you will have a chance to see the big cats, antelopes and a number of bird species. After this long day in Masai Mara you will go to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Game drive and Hot air balloon tour

You will wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge. And our company guide will take you to the starting point for the hot air balloon ride. This tour gives you a chance to witness the magical sunrise, vast savannah and a great view of the wildlife and birds in the Masai Mara plains. After the balloon tour you will have another game drive in the Masai Mara plains and a picnic lunch. After the game drive you will go to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Diani Beach

When you are done with breakfast our company guide will pick you up and transfer you to Diani Beach. The beach is known as the tropical paradise due to its crystal-clear waters which favours snorkelling, white sand for sunbathing and a number of wildlife like Dolphins. After your drive you will check in to your lodge for relaxing.

Day 9: Transfer to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park and Wasini Island

After breakfast you will be transferred by our guide to Shimoni where you will register for your boat ride to Kisite Mpunguti and Wasini island. You will have a chance to see different marine life such as Dolphins, fish species, and Coral reefs. You can also engage in different activities like, jumping out of the boat for swimming, and snorkelling in the ocean. After all these activities, you will be transferred to Wasini Island where a variety of dishes are served. Hence giving you a chance to taste sea food and different local dishes prepared in local restaurants on the island. After your adventure on Wasini Island you will be transferred to Shimoni to your lodge for resting, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10 Transfer to Shimba Hills

After breakfast you will be transferred by our guide to the breathtaking coastal forest, scrubland and grassland in Shimba Hils National Reserve. You will have a relaxing walk to the beautiful Sheldrick falls which flows down the rocky cliff into a breathtaking pool.  You will also get a chance to witness some of the reserve’s fauna, such as elephants, buffalo, hartebeest, impala, and vervet monkeys during your game drive in the Reserve. The reserve is also known for protecting sable antelope. After your visit to Shimba hills you will be driven back to the lodge for a seafood meal and some cocktails while resting at Diani Beach with a view of the ocean.

Day 11: Transfer to the Airport

You will leave the lodge to make the journey to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your trip home, depending on when your departure is scheduled.
