Alternative Payment Method: Telegraphic Transfer( TT)
We accept payment by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) for those who prefer international bank transfers.
Please be advised that each TT transaction is subject to a nominal processing fee based on your geographical region worldwide. To avoid any deficit in your safari budget, please ascertain the processing cost and include it in the amount you send.
All funds are securely processed by the I&M Bank Head Office and put into the official account of Active African Vacations Ltd.
Crucial Payment and Verification
A deposit of 30% of the total tour fee is necessary to secure your booking. This deposit encompasses vital safari activities, including the acquisition of all requisite government permits (Gorilla, Chimpanzee, and Nyiragongo).
Payment Deadlines for Balance
The outstanding balance, inclusive of any relevant surcharges associated with your selected payment method:
• Credit Card: Complete payment is required by Rwanda Gorilla Trek no later than 10 to 15 days before the departure date.
• Cash on Arrival: Should you wish to settle the balance in cash at the start of the safari, you are required to inform us in writing two weeks before the departure date.
Failure to Remit Payment
Non-payment of the outstanding balance by the due date, without a signed commitment to pay upon arrival, will lead to the termination of your booking. No refund will be provided for the initial 30% deposit in this event. This policy is essential due to the prohibition of refunds by government entities in Uganda and Rwanda once official licenses have been acquired. Consequently, Rwanda Gorilla Trek is unable to reimburse the money for any cancellation initiated by the client, irrespective of the timing of the cancellation.
