Detailed Itinerary of the 9 Days (Budget) Uganda Wildlife Chimps & Gorillas Safari

Day 1: Pick up then to Hotel

Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport where you are picked up by a driver who transfers you to Ngamba Island. When you reach the shores at Front Beach, board a boat to transfer you the Ngamba Island and when you reach here, fedd and view the Chimpanzees for some hours. After board a bot to the shores then continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Laico Victoria Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Have breakfast then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. You continue along the Gulu- Kampala Highway for a period of 4 to 6 hours via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and after a while you reach the Muchison Falls National Park. Enjoy an en-route Game Drive to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat cruise

Early morning breakfast then continue on Game Drive along the many tracks watching wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, warthogs, alibi, silver buck etc. Break off for lunch then proceed on Boat Cruise along the Victoria Nile where you watch hippos, crocodiles and birds at the bottom of the falls. Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Today have breakfast then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park a journey that takes you 6 to 7 hours via the Kampala- Fort portal highway. Lunch is en-route, views of the green terrain and after you reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & then Queen Elizabeth NP

Enjoy early morning breakfast then transfer to ark headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees. After briefing, you are distributed into groups of 8 with a park ranger guide who transfers you into the green forest vegetation to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours. After a while in the forest, you meet them and stay in their presence taking photos to keep. After tracking the Chimpanzees, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 6: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up have breakfast then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you 4 to 5 hours’ drive with views of the green terrain, birds and Mountain Rwenzori at a distance. After a while you reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Bush Lodge.

 Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi forest National Park

Today get up early in the morning have breakfast then continue to Bwindi Forest National Park. The journey takes you 4 to 5 hours via the Ishasha Sector watching the magnificent Mountain Rwenzori at a distance. After a while you reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi forest National Park

Today wake up very early in the morning have breakfast at 6:30 am then go to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. After briefing you are located into groups of 8 with a park ranger guide who leads you into the green forest to trek the Gorillas for 3-5 hours.
After a while, you shall meet the majestic Mountain Gorillas and in an hour take many photos to keep. After trekking Gorillas, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Haven lodge Buhoma.

Day 9: Depart to Kampala/ Entebbe

Have breakfast then with all luggage, depart to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
