1 day gorilla trekking from Kisoro

You will be greeted by our guide who will collect you from your hotel in Kisoro, near Mgahinga National Park, and transport you to Mgahinga National Park. Report to the park offices for a brief orientation, then proceed to the gorilla trekking expedition. This gorilla trekking excursion is a unique opportunity. The rangers will guide you deep into the jungle in pursuit of these mountain gorillas.

You will traverse the uneven terrain until you encounter these peaceful creatures, which you will observe for one hour. The duration of the action in Uganda may range from 3 to 7 hours, contingent upon the gorillas’ movement. Upon locating the gorillas, you will have one hour to see their playful interactions, nurturing behaviors towards their offspring, and lifestyle, while also enjoying your packed lunch and capturing wonderful photographs for future recollection.
