Your time in Uganda also includes golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga National Park. From there, you’ll transfer through Kigali and on to Tanzania’s legendary Serengeti plains. Detailed itinerary for 11 days  Uganda gorilla trekking and  Tanzania Wildlife Safaris 

Day 1 Transfer to Bwindi National Park.

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park located in the western part of Uganda with approximately 540km from Kampala by road. You will have a stopover at the Uganda Equator to take photos and the experiment and another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. When you are done with lunch, proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening. You will then check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience

After waking up and having breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to receive a briefing on how to conduct yourself around mountain gorillas. After which you will be split up into groups of eight for each Gorilla family, and you will spend 3- 5 hours tracking for your Gorilla Group in the lush forest under the guidance of a trained ranger guide. You will enjoy the breathtaking views of the surroundings, birds, and primates as they play, jump among the tree branches. You will finally meet the mountain gorillas and spend an hour taking pictures and get a chance to see them play as well as grooming each other. Once your trekking is done you will, return to the headquarters where you are to pick up a Mountain Gorilla Trekking Certificate. After this you will head back to your lodge for lunch and resting.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking

You will wake up very early the morning for breakfast and embark on your journey to Mgahinga National Park to trek for the golden monkey in the lush forest. The process of trekking for golden monkeys is the same as gorilla trekking. When you are done with your trek, you will head back to the lodge from lunch, and an overnight stay

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali international airport.

You will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast after which our driver guide will take you to Kigali International airport to for your flight to Tanzania. Your flight will land at Kilimanjaro International airport Upon arrival in Arusha our guide will transfer you to your lodge for dinner and an overstay

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti plains.

Very early in the morning you will hav e breakfast, your guide will pick you up and embark on your journey to Serengeti plains. You will have an en lunch during you transfer you will enjoy the breathtaking views of Seronera Valley. When you reach the lodge, you will check in and have dinner and relax.

Day 6: Game drive in Serengeti plains.

Very early in the morning you will have breakfast, and the lodge will provide you with pack lunch to eat during the game drive. The drive begins from the north near river Mara where you might get a chance to see the wildebeest. You also get a chance to spot different wildlife like Elephants, Hippos, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, Hyenas and lions among others. You will drive around river Seronera where most animals gather to take water and visit the Maasai Kopjes. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge for dinner and resting.

Day 7: Balloon safari and game drive

You will be taken to the Balloon Safari Starting Point at 6:00 am today, you will begin your flight to discover the splendor of Serengeti National Park and see the untamed animals. After eating a bush breakfast until, you and your guide will go on a full-day game drive with your packed lunch. You will return to the lodge for a hot lunch, supper, and sleep later in the evening.

Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro and game drive

After breakfast, the lodge will provide you with packed lunch to enjoy during your game drive. you will start the day with a wildlife drive in the center Serengeti early in the morning. The savannah is a dynamic environment, and when the restored sunshine begins to light up the entire area, the air is filled with the sounds that the birds produce. Your drive to Ngorongoro gives you a chance to witness the wildebeest’s migration.  After the long day of driving, you will check in your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 9: Game drive in Ngorongoro

After breakfast, you will return to the park with your parked meal so you may have a morning drive into the 600-meter-deep crater. Known as one of the world’s largest volcanic calderas, it is home to more than a million species of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino. Among the other creatures are zebras, buffalos, giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and others. After the game drive you will head back to Arusha, where you will spend the night at your hotel and enjoy dinner.

Day 10: Transfer to Tarangire National Park and game drive

After breakfast you will depart from Ngorongoro very early in the morning and head to Tarangire National where colossal termite mounds and ancient baobab trees await. This park is well known for having a big elephant population, their varied bird life and beautiful surroundings. Elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and baboons are among the alluring species of Tarangire. When our game drive comes to an end, we will proceed to Arusha where you will have an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 11: Departure at Kilimanjaro airport

After having Breakfast will at your lodge, you will check out and then drive to Kilimanjaro airport, stopping along the way for lunch. If you have an evening flight out of Tanzania, your driver will drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
