4 Days Rwanda Double Gorilla Trekking Safari
4 Days Rwanda Double Gorilla Trekking Safari, Embark on the ultimate wildlife adventure with this 4-day double gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, designed for travelers who wish to maximize their time with the iconic mountain gorillas. This extraordinary journey combines visits to Volcanoes National Park, home to habituated gorilla families, with immersive trekking experiences that reveal the rich biodiversity of Rwanda’s volcanic landscapes.
Unlike standard gorilla treks, this itinerary offers two full gorilla trekking experiences, giving you double the chance to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Your safari begins with a warm welcome at Kigali International Airport. After meeting your professional guide, embark on a scenic drive northwest to Volcanoes National Park, approximately 2.5–3 hours away.
Along the way, pass through rolling hills dotted with tea plantations, traditional villages, and scenic highland landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge nestled near the park’s edge. Your guide will provide an orientation session detailing the gorilla trekking experience, park regulations, and safety protocols. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge, enjoying the misty volcano views, and preparing for the early start of tomorrow’s trek.
