The safari drive will start at Murchison Falls, continue through the national parks of Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and conclude at Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Kampala to Murchison falls national park.
From your location in Kampala, our driver guide will pick you up and brief you about the safari. Set off the engine for a 6-7 hours’ drive to Murchison falls national park passing via Masindi. Along the way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for Rhino trekking, which will take you about 2 hours. You will then proceed to Masindi town for lunch and later arrive at the park through the Kichumbayobo gate. Check in at the booked lodge for dinner and slumber.

Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise in the evening.
Following breakfast, meet your driver for an early morning game drive in the park’s lush savannah vegetation. Expect to see some of the big five animals like, elephants, leopards together with amazing views of birds hoovering around. You will later return to the lunch and then prepare for a boat cruise in the afternoon to the bottom of the falls at Devils Cauldron. You will be rewarded with views of the falls and its mighty roar as it hits thunderously through the narrow hole. Dinner and slumber at the lodge when you return.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibaale Forest National park.
After grabbing breakfast, embark set off to Kibale Forest National park in Fort portal. Along the way, you will have views of the local homes and farmlands. Upon your arrival at the park, check-in at the booked lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland walk.
Wake up for morning breakfast and then meet the driver for a transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and registration. Later, set out into the forest to search for the chimpanzees. Once found, spend 1 hour with them for photography moments. Have enroute lunch and visit the Bigodi wetland through a nature walk. On a lucky day, you will be able to see a variety of wildlife including birds and insects. Before night fall, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park and launch cruise.
After a morning breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park with amazing snow views of the mystical mount Rwenzori national park especially on a clear day. Check-in at the booked lodge and have lunch and later embark on a boat cruise to Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. Expect to see hippos, occasional crocodiles of the Nile and beautiful views of birds. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Morning game drive and a visit to Maramagambo forest.
Kick the day off with a morning game drive with packed lunch to see the predators like hippos, lions as they return to their hideouts. After lunch, proceed to Maramagambo forest where you will encounter pythons that feed on the bats in the caves. Besides, expect to see primates like baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, birds to mention but a few. In the evening, return to the lodge where you will dine and slumber.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
Enjoy a morning breakfast and set off for a 3- 4 hours’ drive through the Ishasha sector, South of Queen Elizabeth national park and head to Bwindi impenetrable national park. The drive will take you through scenic views of wild animals like tree climbing lions, different scenic landscapes. On arrival at the park, check-in at Rushaga sector, have lunch and relax up to the evening as you wait for superb highlights the following day. Dinner and overnight stay at the booked lodge.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking and cultural encounter.
After having breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and briefing. Later, you will be divided into groups of 8 and given a family to trek. Commence the activity and once you find a gorilla, you will be allowed to stay with it for 1hour. Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for an evening cultural encounter with the Batwa locals. Expect to learn about their past lifestyles in the forests through activities like dancing, singing and how they used herbs for medicine. Return to the lodge for dinner and retire for a night.
Day 9: Set off back to Kampala.
After having breakfast, prepare for a transfer back to Kampala at a relaxed pace, enroute at the Equator for relaxation, photography and lunch. End of the trip.
